Rosie Danvers has once again joined forces with Amazon Music to create an orchestral version of THE VACCINES song ‘Paranormal Romance’ and recorded it at Abbey Road Studios.
The Ennio Morricone inspired song lends itself perfectly to orchestration. It has a great, fast moving energy and the whole process felt like we were creating a movie soundtrack!
The session was produced by Tommy Danvers and Engineered by Paul Pritchard at Abbey Road Studios. July 2021.

“One of our primary aims on the new record was to sound cinematic and widescreen,” Justin Young explains. “We frequently referenced composers like John Barry, Bruno Nicolai and Ennio Morricone, and the album version of ‘Paranormal Romance’ was probably the closest that we came to paying direct homage to their work. So to be lucky enough to have the song orchestrated by Rosie (Danvers, orchestrator) and then to record it in Studio 2 at Abbey Road is what dreams are made of.”
